The Open Letters of 2015

There is a culture of open letters in South Africa. It is interesting to note how many of these letters circle around one Andile Mngxitama. From September National Imbizo (RIP) to the Economic Freedom Fighters to Black First Land First. And the story continues. Thought I'd throw in a short collection for the person who likes to look at all sides of this stone we call South Africa.

January Feb, March, 2015 had these open letters going.

2015 seems like a hot year. Flaming with political heat and hotness. But what of these accusations that Andile bullied a fellow comrade to collect information from the EFF? Can we talk about that? Or not? Baloyi does.

It seems that Andile couldn't take it anymore. And couldn't stand by as JM accumulated wealth instead of fighting for the important things, like Pillar 1. "Comrade, the wealth and comfort enjoyed by whites in South Africa is a product of historical violent theft of our land, labour and destruction of the African way of life."

Seems the inside coup failed, because he was the one who ended up resigning. Bringing us to the letter I wrote while in Cape Town.

These open letters always seem to hit the heart. And are sore points of conversation. But they've been happening. Baloyi's is a heavy blow, like a loved one's hurtful, sincere strikes. What do you people think? Is Andile Mngxitama more important than we give him credit for? What is up with the Zuma land talk all of a sudden? We remember 2014, you know. Politics is a shifting floor, and Andile's been accused of being a good tap-dancer. Nice guy, you know. he just never answers any of my questions. So I guess I will ask other opinionated fellows.

When are we openly going to talk about the real movers and shakers of polity?
