This isn't Afrika

Cry, the beloved country? Sometimes I don't know whether to laugh at them. South Africa is still filled with big babies, from the top of the intellectual spectrum to the gutters of the ghettoes.


Tribalism, racism, elitism and all their ism friends are having a field day over here. One can't take a step without race being brought up. People talk the most viscous fecal matter in the parliaments of this country. Yo, speaking of parliament, has anyone wondered why  South Africans are so happy voting every five years, lining up like cattle in the cold, for a political system that is not even African?


It's silly, because we, Afrikans, White, Black, Indian and all others, have chosen to adopt European legal frameworks. We do everything to support European ends. And still I see tribalism and stupid pride soiling the minds of many. What's this? They can't bring a Zulu to lead us - Tshwane residents
A silly sense of tribal pride. Because these Tsonga, Pedi and the rest still vote, in a democratic election. Still accepting ideological rule from Europe and clandestine funds from the Five Eyes and others. And they are burning the little they have in a childish protest.


Look, we don't have to vote. We don't need a Ward Committee. We don't need a parliament in the shape of our colonisers. There is no Afrika if we accept every single European intellectual idea and install it in our lives.  How silly does this look?



Why is it that Black men of high learning are pandering to Europe for intellectual approval? Why does it make the Afrikan happy when the overlords approve? The devilish, manipulative warmongers whose own countries are going to rot because of the exact systems we are trying to mimic? Have you herd of Michigan? Have you seen the ghettoes of Paris? Have you noticed the growth of Right Wing corruption in "the land of the free"?

We need Afrikan solutions. That means, we need to do things in Afrikan ways. Afrika is HUGE! We have loads of spiritual, ethical ad intellectual material without needing George Bush or Obama to give us a thumbs up. They can stick those thumbs up their POTUSes and rotate, in fact. Because I, and a growing number, are sick and tired of the division.

Let me give you an idea.

South Arica does not have an official holy place to do any Zulu rituals. But we have over 52 churches in my small town. South Africa will  send police to attack Afrikan kids protesting against Cecil John Rhodes' legacy, but apparently cannot afford to open up new Universities in the townships of these kids. South Africa will fuel racial tension to seize (Euro-modeled) power (see the history of Zulu vs Xhosa in the ANC, especially to oust Mbeki.) We still do not teach Ubuntu as a Cosmology subject in any university I've visited or enrolled in. As a central tenet of Nguni and I dare say Afrika-wide knowledge, it's silly that Ubuntu is such a shadow of what it should be. Yet kids can quote "I think therefore I am." And yet, when it comes down to it, my own nephews speak so much English, I wonder if they will be able to relate to what African-ness is.

Sick of pandering to Europe. And South Africa is so knee-deep in colonial swill, they won't get them selves out.They need forcible removal. Parliament is a wall between people and autnomy. THe legal framework of South Africa is such that a Frenchman can steal land from me 60 years ago, and I have to buy it back from him. And if you dare chose to take the land your self, you are a criminal and will be judged by a Black man in a blonde wig. Nonsense.

And they start you off young. Training you to be docile and obedient to the inhumane. Who hasn't played Cops and Robbers? Who hasn't been taught socially to accept arrest from a person who's been given authority by the most corrupt of people? We need an  overhaul. And that's what the stooges are afraid of. The African Union is just aping the European Union, and it's faling Afrika.Because it is not shaped by Afrika. It's another example of the Afrikan begging Europe for approval to set its own destiny. After they killed Sankara, there were rallies welcoming back the French. The upright men were silenced and the European had its way with Afrika again. And still, even after Rwanda, the Congo and too many other places of horror to mention, the Afrikans still works harder for the European than for the fellow Afrikan. Do you know how a president gets away with building a mansion with tax payer's millions? Because we pay taxes? We could stop, you know. But slaves seem to have trouble breaking free, even when you give them a key. Do you know how a bank uses millions to build a branch that exploits every body that walks through its doors? Because we uses banks. We could stop. We could dump these systems of exploitation but to what end? For who? Because if we cared about our own health, we'd stop. Ask your self why you allow people you don't know to take your hard-earned money? Ask your self why you allow exploitation every day. And look at how simple it is to change it. We built this world, and we can choose to build a better one. But you, slave, have grown to love your chains. Trained to live in debt when you live in the City ofGold, Egoli. Trained to speak isiNgisi kuphela kodwa ungum'Zulu. And you're proud to date a Swede. Proud to have learned French and escape the Cote d'Ivoire that the French raped and ruined for those left behind. Would rather be "African-American" than Afrikan.  We have a war on our hands and we don't even need weapons to fight it. Just stop. Stop feeding the devil and let it starve.  YOU GIVE THE POLICE POWER TO ARREST YOU. YOU GIVE THE GOVERNMENT POWER TO TAX YOU. YOU LET THEM TAKE WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
