It’s been a few years since Occupy Wall Street came and went. Conventional wisdom says it fizzled — but all of us who participated know better. Occupy took the world by surprise, then it needed to go underground and regroup. Now the revolutionary spirit is stirring again.

During the COP21 UN Climate Conference in December, the streets of Paris will be locked-down. But eight days after the conference ends we will take to the streets in a global big-bang moment that will, for one beautiful day, make business as usual impossible. In every major city of the world, we will come together in our rage, sorrow, compassion, defiance and determination. A revolutionary carnival against a dysfunctional system that keeps us on the brink of climate catastrophe, financial meltdown and World War 3.

But #BILLIONPEOPLEMARCH is more than a moment — it’s a movement. D19 is the first step in building a global peoples’ power bloc. Linked on the Internet, we’ll zero in on half a dozen of the biggest, deepest, most systemic world-changing metamemes that have the power to shift the global narrative towards a sane sustainable future . . .
