Afrophobic Anti-black Operation Fiela-Reclaim
Afrophobic Anti-black Operation Fiela-Reclaim
In the aftermath of the 2015 Afrophobic attacks that
originated in KwaZulu-Natal and spread to Gauteng and other parts of South
Africa, the South African government had to be seen to be taking action and
doing something. The question was what was to be done? What complicated the
issue for our government was failure to take responsibility about what had happened.
Black skinned and dark skinned foreign nationals had been attacked, from the
ensuing violence, no white individuals; foreign or local were caught up in the
blood thirsty frenzy. While the general public saw these attacks as xenophobia,
the government saw it as normal criminal activity by particular syndicates.
Those with the Afro perspective correctly viewed them as targeted attacks aimed
specifically at black foreign by coward South African blacks who were defeated
by the Apartheid government, defeated by the white protecting ANC government at
the expense of improving the lives of the local black poor for the better. In
their frustration and cowardice in their hopelessness, they saw an easy target
in the vulnerable black foreign nationals who unfortunately, unlike the general
white population, foreign and local, do not enjoy the protection of the ruling
elite.
Following weeks of call for government action, government
spinning and responsibility dodging, a governmental inter-ministerial committee
(IMC) was urgently set up to tackle the issue. Leading from the front in this
committee was the Ministry of State Security (Intelligence), who had dismally
failed to detect and prevent this may in the first place. This committee is
comprised of Departments of Home Affairs, Defence, Police, State Security,
Presidency and Social Development. After deliberations overnight the IMC
hatches the idea of a joint operation to deal with the matter once and for all.
Operation Fiela-Reclaim comes to life and we see the military and police hit
the streets of Alexandra in early dawn. The state shouts from the rooftops
saying this is only a start; they will be raiding all crime spots countrywide
to sweep clean our streets of all criminal elements. House raids, stops and
searches are conducted with swift speed in poor black populated areas, city
centres and filthy city downtowns across the country. So far all targets,
victims and culprits are black and dark skinned, foreign and local alike. White
criminals and law abiding citizens, foreign and local are not part of this
experience at all. Gang violence ensues in the Cape Flats during the same
period, no army or police are sent to gang hotspots and no reason is given from
the government.
During this operation, blacks are thrown to jails; black
foreign nationals are sent home packing by a black ANC-led South African
government. On a daily basis state officials to the mass media to inform us the
numbers of criminals, weapons, illegal foreigners having been netted by their
operations the previous night. All the unfortunate ones caught in this hive of
activity by our security agencies.
What is even more curious about all this facade by the state
is that behind the high fences and bricked walls of formerly whites only
suburbia, criminal, syndicate and mafia bosses and kingpins are watching from
their mega flat screens as their black foot soldiers are harassed by their own
kind. They know pretty well that this government is really afraid of whites,
they will never touch them. Our police crime intelligence and state
intelligence agencies are very much aware of the mega scale of crimes committed
by the white population in this country, but for one reason or the other they
never raise a finger against these ruthless white criminals. For them it is
much easier to target the poor, voiceless and powerless blacks and parade them
for our white owned and white controlled mass media to make a big spectacle of
black criminality.
These attacks, government operations and all publicity by
mass media are not really aimed at tackling crime and criminality in the
country at large. They are a result of a deep seated hatred for blacks and
anything black. Black South Africans has been mislead and whitewashed to
believe they are better than and much civilized than other blacks elsewhere in
the continent. White South Africans have been told they are superior to blacks
in every human aspect possible. What we are seeing now is a toxic collusion and
a toxic relationship of the anti black white sentiment combined with self
hatred by local blacks that has resulted in the venomous concoction that is
Operation Fiela-Reclaim. Fiela is a Sotho word meaning “sweep”. In essence, the
state is legitimizing Goodwill Zwelithini’s misguided viewpoint that black
people from elsewhere in the continent are dirt and dirty, they have brought
with them all their dirt to our shores. So, they are deserving to be swept out
and away in the most horrible, cruel and inhumane ways possible.
All those Anti-Xenophobic programmes and events are just a
public relations exercise by the government to be able to point and say but we
are doing something to stem out the violence against our brothers and sisters.
The same government officials who give speeches and cut ribbons at these events
by day, are the same people who sign off repatriation orders and arrest
warrants by night. If anything, this Operation Fiela-Reclaim is a reinforcement
of anti black perspective and behaviour by white fearing local blacks and a
weak black state that foreign blacks are criminals and cannibals and white
foreigners are investors, tourists and job creators. Shame on all of us. We are
not free until we free our minds from the mental and psychological shackles of
white supremacy, colonialism and Apartheid. Let first Fiela the anti black
racist white supremacist rot from our heads.
