Crisis, emergency, where your eyes fear to tread

So, the evidence is rife and it's everywhere. there is a plot against the poor, destitute and homeless.
Dear reader, there is serious stuff going on in the darkest alleys of your city, suburb and town.

There is only 1 group I know that is reporting directly on this. The Uhuru Coalition (soon to be launched) and rEvolution South Afrika.

The important story here is this.

Palesa already wrote the words out. I need not regurgitate. but please take time to read the

Crisis Summary

Crisis Summary:

In 2010, and over the past 6 months, especially after Nelson Mandela died; there's been a sharp decrease in the number of homeless and poor people on the streets of Durban's CBD. So we must ask, where have thousands of poor and destitute South Africans disappeared?

Crimes against humanity are committed day and night on the streets of Durban. Police-state terror is culpable for an ongoing war against our homeless and poor people. Their crime? Being poor. In the name of ’re-development', the most horrific of human rights violations continue to cause trauma and havoc.

On Saturday 19 January, nine homeless South Africans were suddenly attacked, gassed, assaulted, and shot with both rubber bullets and live ammunition. To date, we cannot account for a 9 year old boy that was shot 6 times, 3 times on the back of the neck, twice in the back and once in the back of the thigh on 19 January 2014. Executed whilst running from the police. In what appears to be a twisted 're-development' plan to chase people from the CBD; undercover investigations, peace keeping, and victim and eyewitness testimonies clearly point to evil, cruel, and sinister crimes, using sly tactics with extreme levels of violence and intimidation. We do not yet know the real number of casualties; police and metro deny they were present that night.

Evidences directly point to our municipality that has spent several millions allegedly 'researching' our homeless and poor. They then implemented a 'plan of action' jointly with Metro police, SAPS, private security companies, and even military hit squads to exterminate people by any means necessary. So our city, meaning you, are paying corporations to hire private 'security' forces who chase, kill, rape, beat, harass, rob, and intimidate the poorest of poor. There is no doubt that a clean, crime free, equally developed city is the dream and right of every Durbanite. And there is no doubt that so much needs, can and must be done to tackle issues symptomatic of economic or physical violence. But under what conditions, and at what human cost?

Thus far, Etv and SABC news; as well as Lotus fm, Gagasi fm and Channel Islam; newspapers, online websites, and social media have highlighted this war on all our rights. To date, city public servants Sbu Sithole and James Nxumalo been asked to come to the peace table; but have not responded to the invite.

Addendum:

I find it interesting to note that the report from this here blog on THE 22ND OF OCTOBER did not get reported by any other agency or network. And yet the Joburg protest the month after, were. Also, take a look at #innercitycleansweep on Twitter to get a view on how long this domino train's been falling.
