Uprooted Ethics

Quick wit will cut forests down with its sharpness
Indifference cuts much finer.
There is a frightening freedom that clothes apathy
And it is between this shelter and my skin that the war really begins.
When the gap between wit and cynicism is unrecognisable.
When our vision is blinded by the sharp glint of humour’s knife-edge.
That is when we are in trouble.
That is when we must cower.
For forests have raison d’ĂȘtre as well.

It is inseparably linked, with ours.

Addendum:
Think, thinker. The tree is logic. Logic is embodied in the tree. The tree hides as a leaf. The house is disguised as a door. Think, thinker. Then do.
