Beauty is a Perceptive sport

For all those that may not know it, I am a transforming being. In the simple sense that I am aware that objects within time are always changing. I do my best to be honest to my self about the changes that constitute who/what/when/why I am. There was a point when I didn't drink or smoke, yet now I do. There was a point when I didn't believe in anything but Science. That, too, has changed.

My feelings have been tending towards the beauty and depth of Sacred Geometry. THat it exists in all objects. I do have interests in Chaos and Chaos Magick and every school of Magick because of it.
Today, I saw a great image of the Unicursal Hexagram. A familiar image for those even not familiar with magickal studies. I am not a master or guru in any degree. I am a fucking curious man, though. always have been. And I've been learning to ask fewer questions and get more proactive in acting out reserach rather than loading my self with answer-less or unanswerable questions.

"The Unicursal Hexagram (pictured left) should not be confused with the 'Hexagram' (pictured below). This is a 'gateless' version of the hexagram, i.e. it can be drawn without removing the drawing/etching implement from the surface, and was designed by Aleister Crowley as the symbol of his Order of the Silver Star, Astrum Argentum. No evil spirit or unwanted energy is thought to be able to penetrate the etched pattern where there is no 'lifting' of the knife or pencil. " Frater David R Jones

This hexagram above immediately brought forth purer, safer images rather than the standard hexagram which many of us are used to. The standard hexagram does have a gate. I felt that enclosed nature/form of the unicursal hexagram gave me security and connectedness that I didn't feel for the more traditional hexagram.

But I've discovered much more. THat even though the Kaballists of old utilised the more traditional hexagram in popular media, the unicursal hexagram was far more important in representing certain things that the gated hexagram did not. Consider the Tree of Life.

Imagine how the gated hexagram fits into it, and then consider the unicursal representation. The southernmost point, Yesod and the northernmost point (between Tiphareth and Kether) encompasses such pivotal points, centered by Beauty(Tiphareth, midpoint, number 6)

I am not a master mage, as I said, but my relationship with esoterica and magickal imagery is in me. I cannot deny it. i seek to interact with the multiverse through all conducive systems. THe power and beauty feelings invoked by the unicursal hexagram will be a point of interest for me for a long time, inasmuch as it involves my personal growth. And personal growth is the duty of conscious life. I suggest all who have  access to Jstor take a look at external link number 2, as it is a citation of a paper about Personal Growth and the existence of God by a talented Philosopher Dr Augustine Shutte of University of Cape Town. The existence of God argument isn't the important bit, at this time. It will be explored in detail in later writings of mine. Have a great existence. never stop seeing the beauty in the sacred and profane.
