A brief discourse on Consciousness.

Is your cellphone alive? Does the ground care that you are walking on it? Are we in bodies or are bodies in us?

We spend countless hours maintaining our egos and nurturing them, but we also shape its living environment. It is to our benefit to be aware of the things that can entrap and stifle the I. The shell of Earth is but a tiny part of Universe Consciousness, which has more at stake than Life and Life only. I am learning that Life is not only precious, but body life is a fleeting (though vital) chapter of the story.

Elements know. Alice A. Bailey has wonderful series of lectures on this particular subject, and earlier readers of my blog will know that the first posts of my blog were abut Cellular Memory and the consciousness of the community that is the "living" body. The work of The Seeker is not only to seek, but to spread the knowledge attained for the betterment of every atom, molecule, cell, blastula and all beings beneath and above the visible spectrum.

This is a brief paper, the beginning of her series. It is suggested reading from my self to all who endeavor to know more about the mysteries of Life. We can know, you know. Life is not forbidden nor hidden from us. It is veiled by information. We have to live in and live as information. I am reminded of Frank Herbert's character, Ship, who once asked a Nurse, "What is God?" Ship's answer was "Information, not decisions." This riddle, wrapped in a question-answer format, has so much inside it, it would take another few essays to fully look into. i leave that to the community that reads these ages. I will say this, for now: The decisions are consciousness-centric. But by studying the Periodic Table of Elements, we start to see things that we weren't explicitly told in high school.
That there are cosmological principles underlying the field of play. That there is Autopoeisis (self forming), Communion and Differentiation (uniqueness) in all things. That matter is a relationship, not a tool. Consciousness, is not an exclusive gift. it exists in and as many forms. We are just an expression of it, one facet.

"When all the race is perfected alike. As man, that is; all tended to mankind, And, man produced, all has its end thus far; But in completed man begins anew a tendency to God. Prognostics told Man's near approach; so in man's self arise August anticipations, symbols, types Of a dim splendour ever on before In that eternal circle life pursues. For men begin to pass their nature's bound, And find new hopes and cares which fast supplant Their proper joys and griefs; they grow too great For narrow creeds of right and wrong, which fade Before the unmeasured thirst for good: while peace Rises within them ever more and more. Such men are even now upon the earth Serene amid the half-formed creatures round Who should be saved by them and joined with them." Robert Browning

We must thus get over the exclusivity which pollutes our media, all media. From the oldest times, until today. We should no treat rocks, crystals, plants and beasts as if hey are something which we can conquer, tame and control. This Universe (maybe the other ones too) is about community, and mastery of this universe means mastery of the self, which then means growth, insurmountable personal growth. it is the reward for an authentic relationship with the supreme personality of godhead.

Much more will follow, but i insist upon reading the paper by Alice A. Bailey before we continue further in our discussions.
