The Future asked me: What do you wanna do next?
Funny thing is, now this place is gonna get
some structure. Oh be afraid, children of every age! Am I really the best
person for structure? To follow through on every promise and project? We used
to do, with The Gutter Crew, but it wasn’t too rigid. MQ made most of the
money, anyway. I never gave a fuck about anything but the fun of the process.
Preparing and finally performing a show.
Fun stuff.
But I’ve always felt that I feel far more comfortable knowing that I am read far more often than I am heard. If one wanted to know me, my texts would be the source. But this meant creating a platform. Books. Or, in this age, the digital platform. Thank you Myspace, Blogger and Facebook. Do you remember the good Myspace? The good ol’2005 Myspace. When we could actually get good music and upload our own. Personalised profiles that were hackable and customisable to no end. Beautiful! It had structure but it also had freedom.
So I feel I must Write more, to get back to my point. I must actually get published more. Liberator Magazine was only a little warm-up. Love those people and their production. As much as I love Chimurenga, in fact, but I could go on all day about Chimurenga. Let’s just say, Who no know, go know. And I know.
Wanna start adding some custom cuts to this blog. Design and pimp this thing out properly. You, the reading public of Chaotic Front, what do you think? Should I keep the basic structure of the blog as is? I feel it carries a Wrier’s simplicity. But I also may want to create a far darker, moodier feel to this blog. Or an electric one filled with sharp white and red finishes. What say thee? If I’m gonna Write more, may as well create a beautiful place for it, right?
