A Note from Mr Wade Smit
It
is only modern society and modern government that is corrupted by
infantile ideas of idealistic living. Policing is a great childlike
error on the part of so-called "first-world" humans. We take the bigger,
dumber and desperate ones and make them do what we say. And who do they
push around to do what we say? Well, us. And the previous "We" isn't
us. It's the government.
I crave self-government. Founded on a natural and human philosophy of ubuntu or somelike. Human progress has been splintered AND IT'S ANNOYING. Splintered by religion -- which has produced great art, great thinkers, great science, but delusion of all kinds and a most ruthless oppression. So progress occurs, but not without a most adhesive regression.
Science and humanism have gone together for thousands of years -- the discovery of natural medicines and the progress of mathematics happened sustainably, whereas now technology and science and pharmaceuticals are extrapolating faster than we can think but at the severe cost of everything. Progress is good, but I determine the success of progress by what means it is acheived. Sustainable science is long gone, and that will be undoing.
The ubuntu philosophy can only be pragmatised as one portion of the minds of one portion of countries that make up a very small cut of all of them.
So where does that take us? Forward, quickly, and up, but towards a veritable Shaka's Rock, where the human empire will throw its own people down to die. The rest will follow in suit through famine because there will be nothing left sustainably.
It's funny when people laud Western progress in technology, science and social policy, but Western technology is built on raped, enslaved people and land, the science too, and social policy is marred by hypocritical doings by governments everywhere. Where to go, oh, where to go?
